Welcome to the home page of International Amateur Kabaddi Federation (Canada) also known as IAKF which was formed in 2017 during the ISC World Games-2017 organized by International Sports Council (Canada) in Dashrath Stadium, Kathmandu, Nepal approved by National Sports Council-Nepal. There were hundreds of Kabaddi (Boys and Girls) athletes with lot of hopes to develop the sport of Kabaddi in another part of the world not only in Canada or Americas but the rest of the world as well. IAKF was formed to develop a new umbrella organization of All National Kabaddi Federations or Associations or International Kabaddi Federations like Sub-Continent/Continent (North America, Pan America, South Asia or Asian Kabaddi Federation, African kabaddi Federation etc). International Amateur Kabaddi Federation (IAKF) is now Legally Registered/Incorporated in Canada and the United States of America under Non-Profit Act which is mandatory to get International Olympic Committee (IOC) membership and IAKF is the only ONE under this act as of today and rest others are either Private Company Act or Limited Companies Act.
Our MissionKabaddi has hundreds of thousands of fans around the world but still not developed globally as it supposed to be. From decades kabaddi Lovers are trying to get Kabaddi into Olympics but IOC requires a minimum of 45 Registered/Incorporated National Kabaddi Federations under Non-Profit Act from at-least 3 Continents. So far there is No Strong Leadership from it’s originating country India and that’s why 45 countries Registered National Kabaddi Federations were legalized. Now under this IAKF leadership many Kabaddi countries have the hope for Kabaddi development.
